The Etea Group combines a long-standing presence in agribusiness with innovation and progress.
The business was founded in 1995 as an engineering company. In 1998, Etea began adding production components; initially in the alcohol and starch sectors, subsequently in renewable energy and most recently in the area of sourcing and trading of grains and oilseeds.
Through growth Etea has been able to further develop, both in terms of production and geographic expansion, the skills accrued over decades of experience in the production of starch derivatives, gluten and alcohol.
Since in the 1960’s the proprietors of Etea have managed and maintained part ownership in the company Sedamyl. In July of 2019 Etea acquired Sedamyl, integrating it’s production into Etea’s expanding commercial offering.
As the Etea Group’s production diversified it also expanded geographically, first within the EU and then in the Balkan area. Today, the Etea Group is present in 5 European countries – Italy, France, UK, Albania, Romania, Serbia and Bosnia – as owner-operator of 17 production facilities as well as numerous storage sites.
Our goal is to be a reference point for our clients, supporting their development through the innovation of our products and the quality of services provided.
